We’re using ‘Photowalk’ to mean a gathering of photographers. Rather than just walking the streets, we’ll meet in the lobby of The Intercontental Hotel located at 139 East Kilbourn Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53202. From there we will walk across the street to a park and practice making portraits with various lighting techniques. Joining us will be Kevin Stohlmeyer and Photofocus contributor David Crewe! Together we have created thousands of portraits lit with speedlights and studio strobes.
We’re really pleased to team up with the PAC for this event–check out their groups around the world- and Kevin Stohlmeyer’s user group. This is a free event and we’ve got several raffle prizes, including a license to Perfectly Clear, and a complimentary ticket to Kelby One’s Lightroom CC Power Tour with RC Concepcion seminar on Thursday.
This is a hands-on shooting time: bring your camera and your speedlights/flashes. Don’t worry if you don’t have any lights, we’ll share tools. The retouching demonstrations will not be hands-on (it just isn’t feasible), so you can leave your computer at home. We’ll show you how we use Perfectly Clear with Lightroom and Photoshop to make a big impact on our work (they’re our sponsor, after all).
