Not that DJI wasn’t already crushing the market, but the drone leader continues to pile on with a pair of new drones designed with the pro in mind.
The DJI Phantom 4 Pro continues the popular Phantom design and features a 1″ 20MP sensor that offers gimbal-stabilized 4K/60p video. It offers flight autonomy with redundant sensors and four directions of obstacle avoidance.
When in Sport Mode, the Phantom 4 Pro can reach a top speed of 45 MPH. It has a max range of control of 4.3 miles and it offers visual tracking of a moving subject. The Phantom 4 Pro+ adds a 1080p display to the remote. At $1499 and $1799, the new Pro models offer a lot to the Phantom line, albeit at a significant price bump.
The DJI Inspire 2 features compatibility with the powerful 5.2K Zenmuse X5 series of cameras and gimbals. The upgraded video transmission system offers a 4.3 mile effective range and delivers 1080p or 720p to the pilot. The Inspire 2 runs $2999 without a camera or gimbal.
