Fuji officially revealed the X-T2 this week, alongside a new EF-X500 flash. The new X-T2 serves as a replacement to the popular X-T1 and upgrades from a 16MP X-Trans II sensor to a 24MP X-Trans III sensor. Additionally, the X-T2 gets internal 4K video recording with a new F-Log Gamma option.

The X-T2 body has weather-proofing at 63 points. A new Vertical Power Booster Grip is available (also weather-sealed) and adds two batteries, which allows the camera to operate with three total batteries at once. It can also extend a number of performance features like continuous shooting, shooting interval, shutter release time lag and blackout time, while also extending the duration of 4K video recording to approximately 30 minutes.
Alongside the Fuji X-T2, we also get the new EF-X500 hot-shoe flash to serve as the flagship speedlight for the X-Series.
