The Fuji X-T2 hasn’t been announced yet as the obvious successor to the X-T1. However, someone got their hands on a prototype X-T2 and listed it on ebay with a Fuji XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS lens.
For comparison sake, here’s a look at the X-T2 and X-T1 side-by-side:
The seller noted that the camera was a “preview unit body” an priced the kit at £1,999 (approx. $2,900 USD). While the listing is no longer up, Photo Rumors managed to capture some screen shots of the X-T2, along with the description from the listing.
From the listing:
This is a preview unit, fully working , without box or manuals. Payment only with bank transfer to our Hong Kong bank account. Paypal is not possible for this item, if you ever pay with paypal we will refund your payment so don’t waste time. We can send email with jpg file with exif info. Shipping by express courier duty paid to all Eurozone, China, Hong Kong.
I imagine that someone has ended up in a bit of hot water over this since it was most likely a test unit that was either stolen or improperly listed.
