Drobo has announced its new B810i iSCSI SAN storage solution with 8 drive bays.
Drobo states that it is 5x faster than its predecessor and accommodates up to 64TB storage (that’s eight 8TB drives). It will also accommodate 2.5″ drives with tool-free carriers.
It features two Gigabit Ethernet iSCSI ports plus a separate Gigabit Ethernet management port. A rack mount kit is available as an accessory for its 3U rack mount form factor.
The Drobo B810i retails for $1699 and should be available March 1. Check it out here at B&H Photo.
