Photographer Vincent Milum, Jr. offers the dinner jacket that started in the upstate New York countryside enclave Tuxedo Park a delightful re-imagining. A faux dress shirt complete with black bow tie pulls the model’s jacket together–literally! She peers at the camera while tipping her top hat for the view. Black pinstripes on white leggings over stockings and glossy patent leather heels complete the flirty look. A tilted point of view makes her seated pose appear as if it were a quick street photograph. A more careful examination shows the care the photographer has brought to realizing this work. The lines on the park bench move diagonally as do the lines of the bridge of bricks behind her. They repeat the pinstriped lines.
