It’s the start of another new week for the project, and inspired by the generally dull greyness of January, I’ve decided to make this week rainbow week – the benefit being that there are seven colours of the rainbow.
If you want to join in with this theme, the rule is once again quite simple – each day should be a different colour so that at the end of the week, you have a rainbow effect. You can make it so the entire picture is that colour, or just the main colour, or just an element of it – whatever works for you.
So, with that in mind, here’s the first picture – Red – tomorrow will be orange, then yellow, then green, then blue, then indigo and finally violet (or rough estimations of those colours anyway!).
I’ve gone back to using my Canon EOS 6D and 100mm macro lens for this shot – I simply placed these red beads on to some red card. They’re actually very tiny beads in real life! I used a tripod and remote release to allow me to use a very low ISO (100) but a narrow aperture (f/8) to get the most detail possible.
