I like experimenting with how food looks in my “home studio” (cardboard against a wall…). Here, I’ve taken some slices of cucumber and stacked them up on top of each other. It’s sort of architectural, in a Leaning Tower of Pisa sort of way.
I set my camera on a tripod, set a narrow aperture (f/8) and low sensitivity (ISO 200). I used a remote release since the shutter speed was 1.6 seconds.
