Phase One has announced its new IQ3 XF medium format camera system featuring a 100MP CMOS sensor (from Sony) that is the full frame 645 format measuring 53.7mm x 40.4mm. It features 16-bit color depth and 15 stops of dynamic range.
The new IQ3 XF 100MP back also features a sensitivity range of ISO 50-12,800 and has a first curtain electronic shutter to reduce vibrations. It is designed to work hand-in-hand with Capture One Pro 9 for processing those massive 100MP 16-bit images.
The IQ3 XF 100MP back runs $43,990 and is available for Phase One XF, DF+ and Hasselblad H system bodies. More details here on Phase One’s website.
