Nikon D5: photos emerge of Nikon’s new flagship camera

Leaked photos of the Nikon D5, Nikon’s new professional FX-format camera, have been published online.

The Nikon Rumors website has obtained what appear to be images of the Nikon D5, offering a clearer idea of what this new Nikon camera will look like and the layout of its buttons.

Nikon announced it was developing the Nikon D5 a few weeks ago, sparking huge interest. A number of specifications were rumoured at the time, but these have yet to be confirmed.

Below you can see a comparison of the new Nikon D5 images vs the Nikon D4s.

A Nikon D5 release date has not been confirmed; though speculation is that it will be officially launched in early 2016.
