Photo of the Day: Into the light

Category: Street.

Photograph: “Into the light” by Michael L Ricci (username “Michael L Ricci” on Flickr).

Why I picked this image: This street photo is a good example of combining architecture symmetry framing with a human element subject in street photography. I like how the tunnel gives this image a space ship feeling. This could be another scene from a science fiction movie where the captain runs to escape from the unknown into the unknown. And this is another example that you don’t have to push your camera into someones face in order to capture an interesting street photo.
