Photo of the Day: Love at Taj

Category: Street.

Photograph: “Love at Taj” by Dheeraj Tripathi (username “Dheeraj Tripathi” on Flickr),

Why I picked this image: There are millions of images of the Taj Mahal (or any other famous monument). Most of them taken straight from the front with blue sky in the background. The fog and the addition of the human element make this image of the Taj special. It tells a story. And it makes me come up with what story that could be? To me, this makes a strong street photo.
