There are lotsa tutorials for mastering the basic portrait lighting patterns. Rembrandt lighting, loop lighting, butterfly, split and direct lighting – all are important. The tutorials show the effect on your models face. This is good, but you are not in the head shots-only business, are you? But none of the tutorials is showing you the effect of the patterns on your models body. Except this video:
