Canon claims the EOS M10’s new APS-C-size sensor, coupled with its DIGIC 6 processing engine, can pick up more light in every pixel and reduce noise, offering images with more detail.

Meanwhile, its Hybrid CMOS AF II and 49-point AF systems offer faster and more accurate focusing, the company says.

Other signature features include a 3in LCD touchscreen with customisable menus, which title up to 180 degrees – and when tipped to the full 180 degrees the EOS M10 launches into Self Portrait Mode.

Also on board is a Creative Assist Mode to help less experienced photographers get to grips with commonly changed camera settings, while built in Wi-Fi connectivity and NFC lets you connect to your smartphone and share images onine.
