This is going to be so much fun! Several of the authors from Photofocus will be Portland, Oregon on Friday night, and they’ll be leading us in a Photowalk in downtown Portland. Join Richard Harrington, Nicole S. Young, Brian Matiash, and Levi Sim to explore the waterfront and make pictures of the city skyline as dusk falls.
We’ll walk and make pictures and talk and trade beta on cameras. Maybe we’ll end up at a restaurant or bar afterwards. We’ll wrap up after a couple of hours, but there are no firm deadlines here.
This is the kind of photowalk you may want to bring a tripod for because the city skyline with river in front should be pretty good looking.
We’ll meet OUTSIDE the Hotel Rose at the corner of Naito and Morrison. There’s lots of parking at the west end of the Morrison Bridge. Hotel Rose, 50 SW Morrison St, Portland, OR 97204
The weather looks perfect: partly cloudy and a little cool, so I’d bring a jacket. We should get a terrific sunset.
This is a photoWALK, so plan to walk. We’ll cross the Morrison bridge and come back across on the Hawthorne bridge to end up at the Hotel Rose.
I hope you can join us! And keep an eye out here for more photowalks and workshops coming to a town near you.
